BIRMINGHAM, AL – October 7, 2026 – Capstone Communities has secured financing and begun construction on The Villas at Viera, a 275-unit build-to-rent community situated on an 18.37-acre parcel within the master-planned Viera community in Brevard County, Florida.
Strategically located near the interchange of Pineda Causeway and Interstate 95, The Villas at Viera will offer residents convenient access to the heart of Florida’s Space Coast, home to major employers including NASA, SpaceX, Blue Origin, L3Harris, and Northrop Grumman. The site is in a region hosting a record 109 rocket launches in 2025 and 18% projected population growth over five years. The development will combine thoughtfully designed residences, premium finishes, and resort-style amenities within one of the region’s most desirable master-planned communities.
Capstone Communities is developing the project with affiliated companies CBI Construction serving as general contractor and Capstone Properties overseeing property management. Fifth Dimension Architecture & Interiors is serving as project architect. The development builds on Capstone’s extensive experience in the build-to-rent sector and its growing multifamily portfolio throughout the Southeast.

The Villas at Viera will feature a diverse mix of residential options, including two four-story apartment buildings, duplexes, carriage homes, and cottage-style residences. A centrally located clubhouse, resort-style swimming pool, and thoughtfully designed community amenities will provide residents with the convenience of traditional multifamily living in a neighborhood-oriented setting.
Construction is now underway, with the first residences anticipated to be delivered in late 2027 and full project completion expected in 2028.
