Hope Cottages is a charitable residential development located on Glenwood’s campus in Birmingham, Alabama, designed to provide permanent housing for individuals with autism. Completed in 2018, the project consists of three cottage-style homes accommodating 16 residents.
Developed in partnership with Glenwood, Nequette Architecture & Design, and numerous community supporters, the $2.2 million project was made possible through donated services, materials, and financial contributions. The development expanded Glenwood’s residential capacity while providing a permanent, supportive living environment for individuals and families served by the nonprofit.
